We moved here from South Dakota. In South Dakota if they know where you live they just bring you your mail. Doesn't matter what address is on it, if your name is on it they bring it to you. Also if you forget a stamp they just take it and give you an envelope to put money in to pay them for the postage the next day. The post office here can not seem to figure out how people with different last names can both live in the same house. They will not take the mail if there is no stamp and if it doesn't have the correct address even though they know who's mail it is they will not bring it to you, they will just send it back or keep it. They have to be the worst post office ever. Which is really surprising cause it is a small town you would think they would still have that small town mentality. Which we live quite outside of town so these conveniences of SD were much appreciated but Nebraska sucks as a whole so why should the post office be any different.
Leanne, the main clerk goes above and beyond for customers, including opening the doors during her lunch break to help us out.
The best of small town America.
